| When you call Freestyle Portraiture, you are calling Michael S. Jackson, Cr. Photog., CPP Photographic Craftsman, Certified Professional Photographer I want to provide you with personal service, the best service that I can provide. The best way to do that is to control every aspect of the session. I am with you from beginning to end of each project. When we have a consultation you tell me the sort of image that you are looking for and I help you attain that image, by suggesting clothing colors that complement the background as well as the subject. The only things that I do not do myself are print the images (professional labs are best equipped to do that), build the frames or construct the albums. When you hire a photographer you are paying for the artistry and time not the paper. The same principles apply to wedding photography. I am with you from the first consultation through to the delivery of the finished album. I want your wedding to be special, so I do not impose time limits on the wedding day. There are no limits to the number of shots taken and the minimum number is however many it takes to cover the event. All weddings are different so it pays to be flexible. Limiting the number of weddings per year will allow me the time to make your album a true reflection of the events of the day. I have been a photographer since I was five years old. Once that first camera was placed in my hands, I haven't gone anywhere without one. Even while playing trumpet on cruise ships in the Caribbean and Mediterranean Seas my camera gear occupied more space than my trumpet and flugelhorn. On later trips to Antarctica, Australia and Southeast Asia my camera case was bigger than my suitcase. In keeping with the mission of the Professional Photographers of America and my background in Education (Bachelor of Music Education from Texas Christian University) I have begun teaching at various local guilds of other professional photographers in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. On January 16th of 2007, in San Antonio, Texas I was awarded the degree of Photographic Craftsman for my work in Education. I have always worked for other studios but now I have decided that on my own I can limit the number of sessions that I will do each year and in that way maintain the quality of each image. Photography is the means to capture a moment and save it. Memories are very important, let me capture them for you. Michael S. Jackson, Cr.
