Your Wedding Day Is The Most Important Day Of Your Life
When you started looking for a photographer to photograph your wedding,
how many times have you called a studio and been told that they can shoot
one more wedding that day? It happens everywhere. The difference at
Freestyle Portraiture is that I don't want to shoot as many weddings as
possible, my goal is less than thirty for the entire year. There is no 'second
team' that goes out and shoots another wedding, I shoot them all, you hired
me and I'm the one that will shoot your wedding, I bring an assistant who is
fully capable of photographing a wedding alone to cover your wedding
completely. You've been planning your wedding for months, why have it
photographed by someone who is squeezing you into an already full
schedule?
At Freestyle Portraiture I like to do everything myself so even on the things
that I can not do myself (like printing, building frames and binding albums) I
inspect and approve each item before delivery - that's the best way for me
to control the quality. It means that I will have to shoot fewer events each
year, but that's fine. You have spent months planning the perfect wedding.
If I shoot two or three weddings every weekend, I can't possible spend more
than a week on any one wedding (less when you consider that I am also
shooting portrait sessions). That's why many studios have to turn over all
of their work to someone else. This takes a lot more of my time but that is
what you are paying me for, not just the day of the wedding.
